VOLUNTEER!

The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank has a small staff of 10 people and relies strongly on volunteers from the community to come in and help with the day to day operations.  In 2010, we were fortunate enough to have 2,954 volunteers who worked over 8,995.5 hours.  At $7.75 an hour, that would have cost us $69,715 in wages!

Yes!  I will help feed the hungry of the Kenai Peninsula by:

ˇBecoming  a Monthly Partner
ˇOrganizing a Food Drive
ˇOrganizing Fundraisers such as a Crop Walk
ˇBecome a Meal-A-Month Sponsor!
ˇDesignate Birthday, Anniversary & Memorials to the Food Bank

Please call (907) 262-3111 to find out more information

For community service hours,
please call to set up a time to come in.  Thank you!

During the growing season, the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank has it's own garden for supplementing our programs with the freshest produce possible.  It takes many volunteer hours to help our garden grow.  If you have a green thumb, why not come volunteer a few hours for a really great cause!

Thank you to the donors who help make our
organization distribute food each month!
